This one is a doozy...Already try uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I have WinXP and have been using MuvAudio for about a year...I had to do a soft restore on my PC for reasons unrelated to Muvaudio...the program was working just fine. Now when I try to open it, i get the error message (box 1) "Strong name validation failed for assembly 'C:\Program Files\MuvAudio2\MuvAudio2.exe'. The file may have been tampered with or it was partially signed but not fully signed with the correct private key."

Then whether I try to X out or click 'ok', another box (box 2) shows up with the heading "MuvAudio2.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services" and goes on saying:
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0x358(856), Thread id = 0x49c (1180).
Click OK to terminate applicatoin.
Click CANCEL to debug.

Then I press OK and (box 3) says "no debugger found" JIT debugger not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of 0x2(2). Please check computer settings.
cordbg.exe !a 0x358

Click retry to have the process wait while attaching a debugger manually.
Click cancel to abort.

I click retry and nothing happens, yet MuvAudio2.exe is running in the processes taking up 0 CPU and about 6980 Memory and it wasn't before I tried opening. However no access to the program to sign in with a key of any sort.

I would hate to have to do a data backup and a hard restore just to get this to work but that will be my last resort. All my virus scanners come up clean so I am out of options and ideas unless someone can PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance for your time reading all this !!!

You can try to repair your .NET installation by doing the following:

Click on your "Start Menu".
Click on "Control Panel".
Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs".
Find the ".NET 2.0 Framework" item and choose to "Repair" the current installation.

Let me know if this doesn't solve it for you.
