I'm using Parallels running XP on 2.5 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro with 2 GB of SDRAM. Trying to convert a protected Ruckus wma files to 192kbs mp3s. I keep experiencing skipping on tracks and have tried reducing the max recording speed. I have also closed all non-essential applications/programs on both the emulated XP and on Leopard. I also checked to make sure that "Launch folders windows in a separate process" was not checked. Any ideas? Any alternatives or work arounds? Thanks.

What is the lowest recording speed you have tried? I would recommend starting at 1 and moving up until you find a speed that skips. We haven't tried XP in Parallels so I'm not 100% sure how MuvAudio2 would handle the "VM" load. I know a few others have mentioned they have it working. Maybe one of them will have some pointers.

Thanks,
