Hi,

Great address bar replacement let me say from the get-go. Been happily using it since Microsoft pulled the rug out from under us all w/ SP3. Love it!

That said, around version 3.5.0.0, i started having problems w/ the address bar toolbar disappearing after reboots. Right-clicking the taskbar shows that it's installed, but clicking it to activate doesn't work no matter what. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled w/ no success.

The other day i noticed a new version available and was excited, hoping that this version might solve my problem, but the new version still has the same issue.

Any ideas?

Maybe there's an alternate way to activate a toolbar in the registry or some other work-around i could try?

Thanks.

John

John - I had a similar problem - installed but and thought it was not loading; however user incompetence.
I found that when I right clicked the taskbar to get the context menu I had the tendency to right click the address bar text and only left clicking works.
Is this what you may be doing; just a thought?
Pete

Nope. That's not it... but thanks for the suggestion.

I have several other toolbars that work just fine.

Has this issue been resolved with the v5 beta or is this the XP machine you referred to on uservoice?

The same one... but i should revise my statement made here. At the time, "MuvEnum" would show up in the list of available Toolbars when right-clicking the taskbar, it just wouldn't work or couldn't be activated. Since posting this here, the situation has changed in that now it doesn't even appear in the list.

Like i said @ UserVoice, not a big deal, as it's a work PC and i'm not sure they'd allow any remote troubleshooting.

Thanks.

Apologies for posting same issue to multiple threads. Did you find a solution to the problem? The FAQ instructions (above) did not fix it for me.
