It seems like album artwork only appears sporadically in converted files - why isn't it there all the time ? I have the box checked to include album artwork, and sometimes it's there, but recently it's not showing up at all. It's a relatively minor gripe against an otherwise excellent product, but one that I would like a solution for, if possible.

Version - 2.9.6.4

Max recording speed = x3

Windows XP

.NET framework - don't know

WMP = 11

Thank you.

As album artwork is pulled from different sources to be as complete as possible, there is the occasional album that album art cannot be found for. We'll be releasing a new version of MuvAudio shortly that will increase the number of results for album art by removing certain characters that would cause no results.

Thanks for the compliments,

v2.9.6.6 includes the album art improvements over v2.9.6.4

It can be downloaded at www.muvaudio.com/download.php

Thanks,

I downloaded the latest version of the software, and it's still not converting the album artwork consistently - it's still very much hit or miss, i.e. sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. Except, with this latest software version, there's an interesting wrinkle that's been added - when it does include the artwork, it's sometimes the wrong artwork ! So, even when it does work, it's not always working properly. Please help !! :(

We apologize for the delay. As always, the forums are meant mostly for having issues resolved by other users. We try to get in here and answer any unanswered questions as we can. For the quickest support, please use our support form at www.muvaudio.com/support.php

To answer your question, having the album art downloaded as an automatic mechanism removes the ability to fine tune the searches made based on album title and album artist. We have the software do it's best to return the most/best results but sometimes, album art doesn't exist on the source (amazon).

We are actually nearing completion of an album art cover program that should fill in the gaps to provide you with the most complete album art collection.

We'll be announcing a beta test on our blog in the coming weeks. If you'd like to be a tester, keep an eye out for it.

Thanks,
