This concerns the "Folder and file naming separator". I prefer my filenames to read like "01 Title" with nothing but a space between Track# and Title. I can change this separator to a space and then save it, and it works fine. However, when i close the program and re-open it, the naming info at the bottom of the main screen just shows "Naming: Output".

If I open the output options, the default "-" has reappeared as the separator and has to be replaced by a space again. But if I don't do this and just start converting after reopening MA3, the program will immediately crash. This message is generated in the report:

Quote:
Message:
GetOutputFilename failed due to invalid characters: System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path. at System.IO.Path.CheckInvalidPathChars(String path) at System.IO.Path.Combine(String path1, String path2) at MuvAudio.Helper.AudioFile.GetOutputFilename(ArrayList list, String rootPath, String outputSeparator, Boolean keepOriginalFilename, Boolean outputToSourceFolder)

I submitted an exception report when prompted.

Workaround: I can use the Windows character code Alt-0160 (hard blank) instead of just a space, and it works. But I don't know if my Honda Fit's radio display will recognize this character.
