Can anyone tell me more about the non-realtime straight transcoding i see mentioned in the version history for 3.0.0.1? I don't see that anywhere in the trial software i'm running now.

Basically, MuvAudio v2 converted all files by playing and recording them in real-time, at up to 10 at a time. MuvAudio v3 now only does this for files that can only be converted that way, at up to 28 at a time. For all the other file types that can be transcoded, converted without having to play and record, they are transcoded at speeds faster than that of the real-time conversions.

Basically, this makes MuvAudio v3 the perfect application for conversion all of your audio file types as it now uses the fastest conversion methods for all of your files. MuvAudio v2 was slower than necessary on files that could've been converted directly rather than played/recorded.

I hope this makes a little sense. :)

Ah, I see now.. It automatically transcodes when it can. I just gave this a shot - I had 15 mp3 tracks at 256kbps I wanted converted to 192kbps to save space. It only converted two at a time, but finished over 50 minutes of audio in two minutes flat. No complaints here... Great addition.
